Game director Katsuhiro Harada is expected to announce Tekken 7 Xbox One, PS4 release at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2015 happening next month. Meanwhile, several weeks since the brawler game has arrived in the U.S. for its location test, it is still playable at selected arcades in the region.

It is Katsuhiro Harada himself who confirmed via his official Twitter account that he is coming to Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2015 next month and while Tekken 7 release date for Xbox One and PS4 consoles remain a blur at the moment, it could be the right platform for Bandai Namco to announce release details of the console versions of the title.

An unnamed source has tipped that TGS 2015 is a special event to watch out for fans who are rooting for Tekken 7 to launch on Xbox one and PS4. It can be recalled that Bandai Namco had confirmed the new character, Catalina, at the same show last year, so, fans are hoping that another big reveal will be made by Harada and the dev team at the said event.

Meanwhile, a Reddit user got an affirmative answer when he inquired yesterday if Tekken 7 is still playable in New York arcades. It is also confirmed that fans can check it out and get their hands on the game  at Round 1 in Chicago and at Round 1 near Seattle, according to another Redditor.

Since Tekken 7 debuted at arcades in Japan, MarkMan Julio and the Mad Catz crew has been travelling around the world to promote the game at different gaming events. The game arrived last month at selected locations in the United States for its location tests but fans are still wondering why there is still no schedule for its console release. Some are wondering why the game is being released in arcades which is "basically obsolete nowadays."

However, the game will not end in arcades as Bandai Namco's director for Tekken 7, Katsuhiro Harada, said that the developer is still polishing the game in its arcade version. In earlier reports, Harada was encouraging gamers to play the arcade version and give some feedback to make sure that bugs and other issues are fixed before it will eventually reach the consoles.

Tekken 7 can still be played at selected Dave and Buster's and Round One selected areas across the US territories, the locations are detailed at Tekken 7's official Facebook page.

Tekken 7 was released at arcades in Japan in February this year and is expected to receive an official release announcement for PS4 and Xbox One versions from Bandai Namco at the Tokyo Game Show 2015 next month. [Fingers crossed]
