The newest plethora of details on Elder Scroll Online: Tamriel Unlimited huge expansion called The Imperial City DLC have been revealed prior to its slated release on August 31 to PC and Mac, September 15 to Xbox One and ultimately, September 16 to PS4.

Express Co. UK reports that fans can look forward to tons of additions coming The Imperial City DLC for Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited such as six new districts, two new dungeons and more spaces including The Imperial Sewers, Aldmeri Dominion Base, Daggerfall Covenant Base and the Ebonheart Pact Base.

Via the game developer's official website, Zenimax Studios has provided a full guide to the city which include a map indicating the focal points of interest for fans revolving around the game's latest expansion pack.

The six districts mentioned are the following:

  1. The Arena District - The Daedra have twisted it into something dark and profane. Imperial citizens are forced to battle beasts, and each other, for the amusement of Molag Bal's soldiers
  2. The Arboretum District - The district is filled with bonfires beneath a thick blanket of smoke. The Daedra have plundered the city's archives-burning as many books and scrolls as they can find.
  3. The Elven Gardens - A base of operations for the perfidious "Legion Zero." The dark legionaries have established great forges here as well as siege foundries, drill yards, and everything else an army might need.
  4. The Memorial District - The Memorial District is a fertile ground for Molag Bal's twisted necromancers. The Worm Cult and Molag Bal's Xivkyn work around the clock, exhuming graves and raising the dead.
  5. The Nobles District - When the Daedric invasion started, Captain Caudex gathered as many legionaries as he could and established a makeshift garrison in the old forum at the center of the district. They've somehow managed to hold that fort for several months, despite the Daedric onslaught.
  6. The Temple District - The Temple of the One has been converted into a horrifying torture chamber. Priests are routinely tortured and interrogated here, while members of the laity are sacrificed to appease Daedric Prince Molag Bal.

As for the two dungeons, these are:

  1. The Imperial City Prison - Gangs of prisoners fought and preyed upon each other-this lasted until the Daedra arrived to lord over the Imperial Prison. A Grievous Twilight and its minions have since completely taken over the prison.
  2. The White-Gold Tower - Located in the center of the Imperial City and visible from miles away in all directions, the White-Gold Tower is one of the two small-group dungeons in the Imperial City.

Moreover, some basic essentials can be located in every base of The Imperial City alliance in the Sewers. These said items are:

  • A Banker that offers normal banking functions, and Tel Var Stone deposits (50 at a time)
  • Basic crafting stations
  • A cooking fire
  • A crafting style merchant
  • A dye station
  • A general goods merchant
  • A lockbox merchant where you can buy randomized set pieces
  • Tel Var Stone merchants (weapons, armor, and crafting components)
  • The "Drake of Blades" will appear there when you first begin your journey in the Imperial City

Back in late July, a hefty-sized patch rolled out on Xbox One and PS4 versions to address some of the persistent crash bugs and fix game glitches.

Zenimax Studios has promised hardcore gamers of Elders Scrolls Online plenty of surprise hidden content around The Imperial City DLC including Skyshards, story events, caves and ruins when it launches initially to PC and Mac on August 31 and two weeks later for Xbox One and PS4 users.
