The upcoming release of first person shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will be moved from October 13 to December 1 this year to give the developer an extra time to do some needed adjustment and improvement, game publisher Ubisoft has officially announced on Tuesday.

On official Ubisoft Blog, the publisher delivered this not so good news of the delay to fans who are eager to get their hands on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and explained that Ubisoft Montreal has to get more time needed to do some adjustments and improvement on a number of areas like improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation.

"We're taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it's the right call," reads Ubisoft's official statement. "We understand that many of you are excited to get your hands on the final game, but as gamers ourselves we know that quality comes first and we are committed to delivering the best game possible."

On the other hand, Ubisoft guarantees to the gamers that the scheduled closed beta testing on September 24 will still be pushed through. This event will allow the dev team to proceed in testing vital aspects of the game such as the infrastructure and matchmaking, Hardcore Gamer reports.

"Rainbow Six Siege's closed beta feedback will make for a higher-quality experience at launch," states Ubisoft.

As reported earlier, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Beta will feature the return of the Terrorist Hunt mode in addition to PvP which was showcased at E3 conference. In the Terrorist Hunt Mode, players will see themselves at the center of a global crisis perpetrated by the White Masks who are known as the world's most dangerous terrorists.

The developer promises that the new Siege Generator feature will bring a whole new experience of gaming. "...you'll never have the same experience twice," assures Ubisoft about its latest first-person tactical shooter that seemed to look better than its predecessor games.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Beta will be one of the game's last checkpoints before its former October 13 release date and is now moved to December 1 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms.
