'Prometheus 2: Hell on Earth' has arrived with a script and will start with film production this coming November 2015. The highly anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott's 2012 sci-fi thriller, 'Prometheus 2' will introduce a new species called 'The Engineers.'

Director of 'Predator' Nimrod Antal revealed that the upcoming 'Prometheus 2: Hell on Earth' will be just a part of a trilogy, so it seems that Ridley Scott also has 'Prometheus 3' in mind. The upcoming 'Prometheus 2: Hell on Earth' is said to have 2 other types of alien species that will resemble the Xenomorphs. It will reveal that the 'Engineers' are actually controlled by one entity.

Whilst 'Prometheus 2: Hell on Earth' will focus on Earth, the third Prometheus will focus on Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and David (Michael Fassbender)'s search for the planet of the 'Engineers.' The planet is called, "Paradise." However, there are new rumors arising that the 'Engineers' are actually controlled by one super power which will be revealed in 'Prometheus 2: Hell on Earth'.

Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender will reprise their roles and Xenomorphs are not coming back on 'Prometheus 2: Hell on Earth'. Although it is confirmed that 'Prometheus 2' will be a direct sequel of 'Prometheus,' they will not include Xenomorphs as the main villains.

'Prometheus 2' will not be affected by Neill Blomkamp's 'Alien 5,' which is currently also in production. Ridley Scott will be executive producing that film as well to ensure plot details do not contradict anything found in 'Prometheus 2.' Ridley Scott sat down with Neill Blomkamp and Nimrod Antal to discuss about their films and to make sure that each movie is going to be different from the other. In an issue of Total Film Ridley Scott made a statement: "I've got back into the Science Fiction thing. I kind of adore it."

Even as there is still no release date for 'Prometheus 2: Hell on Earth', and plot is currently unknown, it is apparently pegged to be released next year.
