Apple is currently on the works on their 2016 MacBook Air which will possibly see the light this coming October which is exactly 1 year since the 2015 MacBook Air was released. Possible feature of the upcoming MacBook includes Intel Core M-Based Processors, slimmer and lighter design, and cheaper of all MacBooks.

MasterHerald said that although the rumors are getting stronger and stronger since October is just around the corner, another report that is gaining similar strength that the 2016 MacBook Air will be dropped officially in March Next year. The news website also said that Apple will be using Intel Core M-Based processors, which is only available, for mass quantity by the last quarter of this year. With this information at hand, most likely, the March 2016 rumor is a more reliable date than October.

On the other hand, CheatSheet, sees this move by Apple to keep their competitors out of track with their move. The website also hailed the electronics consumer maker's high value of secrecy. Apple's dedication with regards to secrecy has given them enough elbow room to work heavily on their products, said the technology website.  The website also predicted that the 2016 MacBook Air will be dropped in October, but did not mention anything about March next year, thus supporting the website's claim on Apple's staunch ground on secrecy.

Another news website has pointed out the benefit why users should wait for the arrival of the 2016 MacBook Air and here are some of their positive points on it. According to Yibada, the top most reason why consumers should hold off in getting any machines that are similar to the 2016 MacBook Air this year is because of the latter's price. The website expects the 2016 MacBook Air will be introduced at $899, which makes it the cheapest MacBook Air of all time. The second factor that they have pointed out is the machine's slimmer and lighter design. Although it is expected to be a carbon copy of the 2015, the 2016 MacBook Air will only weigh a little less than 2 pounds and will be only 13.1 mm thick. Another good thing that the 2016 MacBook Air that is worth the wait would be its Retina Display capability and a USB Type C Port feature.

The 2016 MacBook Air looks promising on papers and regardless if it will be released this year or next year, the only thing that is constant as of this time is that surely Apple is in the win-win side of the trade.
