Vikings season 4 is well under way and is getting ready to premiere the new season next year. The Vikings have been on a rollercoaster ride, travelling around Europe and conquering different places. But a new season means new challenges for them to face, a new beginning perhaps for certain characters, and maybe the beginning of something completely new for them in Paris.

'Vikings' left their fans hanging in the final episode of season 3 when they invaded Paris and had everyone believe that Ragnar was dead.  Acoording to CP ENTERTAINMENT, Clive Standen, or better known as Rollo was to be wed to the Princess of Paris, and was offered land in order to keep peace between the two armies.

During an interview, he said that fans can expect more "incredible stuff" in the next season and even better than what Vikings has already given us in their previous seasons. He also stated that "We're going to see a completely different Rollo. "

But what most people want to know is what's going to happen to Ragnar? He had everyone fooled that he was dead, and even had his son Bjorn in on the act that had everyone dumb founded after he 'resurrected' during his supposed to be burial in the Paris church. Not only did this allow them to attack from inside the city walls, Ragnar was even lucky enough to listen to his closest friends confessions before the ceremony which included Floki admitting he killed Athelstan.

Travis Flimmel who plays the almighty role of Ragnar also explained in an interview with idigitaltimes that Ragnar feels deeply betrayed by a lot of his close friends and that he has a lot of trust issues especially around the time of his near death.  Ragnar becomes obsessed with the fact that he's dying but is intrigued yet confused with his two religions and the death he is facing.

A report from masterherald.com shared information that 'Vikings' season 4 is currently being filmed in Ireland, and will be released early next year.

They are so many more exciting things that can be expected in the all-new season 4 of 'Vikings' but for now fans have to sit tight and keep their eyes and ears open for any other interesting updates that the actors may slip out.
