Alcatel's most recent flagship smartphone, the OneTouch Idol 3 is set to receive its very first and big performance update soon.  Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 is deemed to be a solid contender for OnePlus One.

According to TechnoBuffalo, Alcatel with this yet to be released first update for Idol 3 boasts its "commitment to support" for all its flagship phones. The update is expected to entail improvements in camera to enhance performance and a few software modifications to help improve the double-tap unlocking/wake feature of the smartphone. The company states that the update will also include a few general tweaks as well that will work towards boosting the overall performance of the phone.

Alcatel OneTouch assured to stay committed in keeping Idol 3 updated all the time to make sure that users receive optimum performance experience.

Alcatel has emerged as a clear winner in rectifying its past blunders with the new OneTouch Idol 3. Plus, loud external audio speakers and reversible interface make the phone a good pick for the ones looking for high performance and low budget smartphone.

According to a review posted on CNET, for buyers with low budget and high on performance as their deciding factor, Idol 3 seems to be a good choice right from processing speed and battery backup to screen resolution and camera quality.

Apart from the phone's specifications and update, Alcatel has raised the bar this time with its very first worldwide campaign for Idol 3 that was launched on June 15 in France.

Alcatel, in a bid to attain its sales expectations, has roped in Geometry Global Paris, a renowned integrated marketing and communications agency for its global campaign to market the Idol 3. The campaign is said to run in around 40+ nations covering a range of marketing avenues right from social media, native advertising, events, online videos, digital displays, movie theaters, and television.
