George R.R. Martin Latest Updates: Winds of Winter tells death of a female character

The release of Winds of Winter is expected to be on mid- 2016. To date, there are a lot of speculations about the chapters from the book. More unexpected deaths are in store for the readers.

A lot of fans anticipate that George R.R. Martin will release the 6th installment of A Song of Ice and Fire sometime next year. And as expected, people are hungry for spoilers and predictions. According to Ecumenical News, the author has revealed that a female character will die in the Winds of Winter. He knew that the character will die even from the very start, but it was just recent that he was able to figure out a dramatic end to this unidentified character.

Meanwhile, there are others who wouldn't want to hope that 2016 will be the year that they will read George R.R. Martin's highly - anticipated book. Just few days ago, the author revealed that he will be working on numerous projects for HBO and Cinemax. Apart from that, he will be going to Europe to attend events which he is also the guest of honor. Because of these announcements, Day Herald shared that a number of fans felt that the book will be parked once again.

Jon Snow's death in the TV series has rattled a lot of people. However, even George R.R. Martin gave hints that the character is still alive and was able to survive those fatal wounds. Yibada reported that there are 2 popular theories about Jon Snow's life after his apparent death. One is based on Red Woman's powers and the other is about Snow being a warg. Fans are yet to see if these theories are accurate.

George R.R. Martin's Winds of Winter is said to be different from Game of Thrones. After all, the author was not able to write for the show's 5th season. And in order to finish his book, he turned down writing the 6th season as well.
