An artist who used to paint Oscar Pistorius has shared that the Blade Runner wanted to marry Reeva Steenkamp. Natalie Holland is the artist who has worked with Pistorius and one of those people who were shocked by the news that the amputee athlete murdered his then girlfriend.

According to Sports World News, Holland was in the middle of finishing a series about Pistorius when she heard about the news that his girlfriend was shot dead. She couldn't believe what she heard. After all, Pistorius seemingly saw Steenkamp as his wife. She shared that the Blade Runner was a normal and nice guy.

Some of Holland's paintings about Pistorius can be seen from Mirror. He described the athlete as 'Clark Kent to Superman' when he starts to wear his artificial legs.  They began working even before the Blade Runner became well- known in the international scene. She was working on her third portrait when she heard the shocking news that made her literally drop her paintbrush. Her works can be seen in her exhibit in London.

Meanwhile, Pistorius is going to be released by August this year as reported by The Guardian. He will be on house arrest 10 months after being sentenced for 5 years. This has caused people to question the South African law and some even concluded that Pistorius' money and status could have increased his chances of leaving the jail in such a short period of time. June Steenkamp shared her frustration that it's too soon for someone to be out from the jail considering that it was a life that was taken away.

If Oscar Pistorius will be released, his lawyer, Rohan Kruger, shared that the Blade Runner would like to help children. However, some people believe that this was just a way for Pistorius camp to get sympathy from the public.
