George R. R. Martin has updated his fans on his plans for the upcoming months. The author of A Song of Ice and Fire provided an overview of his schedule which can be found on his website. Most fans thought that he would be solely focusing on finishing The Winds of Winter. In fact, the author himself is very optimistic that he could finish the book before Game of Thrones Season 6 lands on HBO. However, the author has accepted more projects from different networks.

According to idigitaltimes, George R.R. Martin shared in his website that he has new projects under his belt. He is now working with HBO and Cinemax in developing new concepts but he also mentioned that he is busy with The Winds of Winter. Because of this revelation, the fans are anticipating more delays.

In addition, George R.R. Martin will soon fly to Germany to attend few events. While it was recently reported that he already cancelled numerous appearances, events and interviews, this scheduled trip to Germany has made the fans more worried that the book will not be finished before Game of Thrones 6. But that doesn't mean the fans could send messages to the author. George R.R. Martin has already given a statement to his followers not to send messages to him most especially if it's about spoilers. This kind of messages causes delays in his writing as well.

Meanwhile, Game of Thrones fans were shocked by the season finale where Jon Snow died. However, it was reported that the character may still be seen in the future seasons. Based from IBtimes, George R.R. Martin told that the fans should know that death is never permanent in A Song of Ice and Fire. There are now speculations that Jon Snow's character will be revived by a priestess.

George R.R. Martin and the fans are still hoping that The Winds of Winter will be released prior premiere date of Game of Thrones Season 6.
