Mortal Kombat X Latest Patch Brings DLC 3 Preview; Predator, New Skins for Scorpion, Jax Briggs and Johnny Cage Emerged

A brand new patch for Mortal Kombat X is now live for PS4 and Xbox One users where in addition to the bug fixes is a sneak peek of the upcoming character skins from the Prey Pack that will introduce the game's next playable character, Predator.

Netherealm Studios released the patch note details with some improvement on gameplay fixes and tons character specific fixes.

One of the improvement mentioned is that "improvement to PlayStation®3 system generic driver support where the user can now turn off the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller after pairing a compatible fightstick to the console. The DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller can only be turned off AFTER pairing the fightstick."

In addition to fixing the PS3 driver and balancing the fighting characters, it is reported that a sneak peek at the next round of character skins is also included, where Jax Briggs, Johnny Cage, and Scorpion will all receive alternate outfits. These skins will arrive along with the Predator/Prey Pack DLC that introduces the playable character, Predator. 

The Predator has reportedly appeared in Mortal Kombat X after the release of this latest patch, but not yet playable. For now, Predator's profile and the upcoming Kombatants character skins can be seen in the game's Kollection but no one knows when will this ruthless movie villain will officially join the roster.

The Predator / Prey Pack will be the third of the four downloadable game expansion pack for Mortal Kombat X that was announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on Friday the 13th of March.

Mortal Kombat X was released by game developer NetherRealm Studios on April 14 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Mobile. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are anticipated to release anytime soon.
