The first six wrestling superstars who will be featured in the upcoming WWE 2K16 release this October were announced by game publisher 2K Sports and World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) at the recently concluded E3 2015.

During this year's biggest expo held in Los Angeles last week, 2K and WWE unveiled the first six iconic Wrestling superstars and divas for WWE 2K16, namely,,Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Paige, Finn Balor, Bad News Barret and current WWE world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins.

The Character art for each of the six characters confirmed for WWE 2K16 was published via the  WWE official page, however, it has to be noted that the outfits donned by the fighters in those images are not yet official, such is what usually true for previous WWE titles.

Finn Balor, according to IBTimes, is among the modern-day most popular superstars in WWE's development brand NXT and fans can see it as a hint of NXT's presence in WWE 2K16 with Balor being announced as one of the first characters for the game.

Meanwhile, the pre-order for WWE 2K16 set to arrive this October on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 is already up at GameStop, although, no details on the what bonus items come with the package were announced.

The release date for WWE 2K16 have already been shifted among big U.S. merchants including GameStop, Amazon, and Best Buy which all sell the new title at a price of $59.99. Cost of shipping, however, differ for each retailer. Buyers can also opt for in-store pick up to save added shipping charges.

WWE 2K16 is officially confirmed to hit both the current gen and last gen consoles this coming October 27 and anticipated to feature the largest roster in the history of the game's series. There is no word on the PC release, however, and this could simply mean that this version will be delayed.
