A lot of drama is going to happen in 'The Fosters' Season 3. Its recently released promo video has shown fans some major spoilers for the upcoming season. Another, a character from the past might be back. Actress Rosie O'Donnell is said to return and help one of the characters.

Although 'The Fosters' Season 3 premiere is less than a month away, the first promo for the season has just been released. The video includes snippets of different intense scenarios that fans should look forward to.

In the promo, we see the scene of the car accident which involved Jesus, Mariana and their biological pregnant mother. In the promo, Stef screams Jesus' name and is then shown crying saying she is trying to hold it together, which may confirm the speculations that Jake T. Austin's character may be killed off.

Another, Callie will also continue her work at the drop-in center and will meet a foster teen named AJ who is looking for his older brother.

Speaking of Callie, her old group home counselor Rita Hendricks may be back in Season 3. Actress Rosie O'Donnell, who played Rita, posted a photo on Instagram showing herself holding a script of "The Fosters" while resting outdoors. She captioned it with "life is good."

This was later supported by series creator Bradley Bredeweg when he posted via Twitter: "SOMEONE is getting ready to come back to #TheFosters! Hurry home, Ro!"

It is very likely that Rita Hendricks will first be seen interacting with Callie. Rita might be brought in to help Callie deal with the difficulties of just meeting her real father and sibling, and the trouble that comes with being in a foster home with a foster family.
