'The Fosters' Season 3 latest spoilers indicate that the storyline will also revolve around Lena's history. In fact, his father Steward Adams previously played by actor Stephen Collins will return with some exciting news? Also, another actress joins the show.

According to TVLine, the ABC Family drama has cast actor Bruce Davison of the 'X-Men' films as Stewart Adams for the 3rd season. Stewart is a role previously played by '7th Heaven' actor Stephen Collins.  If you can still remember, Collins only appears on 'The Fosters' Season 1 summer finale "I Do," which aired in 2013.

Davison will be first seen in the fourth episode of the 'The Fosters' Season 3, which debuts on Monday, June 8 at 8/7c.

According to CarterMatt, Adam's comeback is a chance to explore more of the Lena character's history. It is also something that fans may be doing more of, after Jake T. Austin has left the series. Getting rid of one major cast member could open the door potentially for some others to get additional time in the spotlight. Thus, ABC's process of getting new cast members is understandable, after someone left the series.

Aside from Davison, an actress will also recur on 'The Fosters' Season 3. Hollywood Reporter revealed that the 'Faking It' actress Yvette Monreal is set to play a part on the upcoming season. She will be portraying the biological cousin of Mariana and Jesus named Adriana. It was not reported as to how many episodes she'll be appearing in.

Meanwhile, last report we had revealed that 'Happyland' alum Katherine McNamara, 'Nashville' Keean Johnson, and 'The Goldbergs' Tom Williamson are set to reprise their roles for the 'The Fosters' Season 3.

Fans, what do you think will happen when Steward Adams reappears? Are you excited that Yvette Monreal is also included? Share us your thought below regarding the 'The Fosters' Season 3 spoilers.
