Big plans have been set for NHL 16. While there's no official release date announced yet, EA Sports have made fans still get excited for it, as the release window for the games is fixed on September this year.

Though, while we wait, EA Sports revealed how the game would rather look like. And it looks promising!

There had been no teaser screenshots posted in the creator's website, though it offered the details that we can expect upon as the game comes. There will be an inclusion of inclusion of 6-versus-6 Online Team Play and online couch co-op play support, as well as enhanced EA Sports Hockey League, Be a GM and Be a Pro modes.

EA Sports showed how important it is to play as a team. And with the Online Team Play, EA has shown how great the game will be. In a press statement, they said:

"Team has been the heart of hockey for as long as it's existed, and this year it's at the heart of NHL 16. We looked to our biggest fans and asked them to be a part of our team. Their most requested features and modes are in the game and include new experiences that make NHL bigger and better. On the ice, team carries through to our gameplay, with innovation and balance at every position, so that each role is meaningful to play. In NHL 16, success is a total team effort, the result of everyone understanding that you never do it alone. You have to play as a team and win as a team."

Though, aside from that, the Be a GM feature allows gamers to navigate motions of draft day and manage ones' own AHL affiliate team, with added feature of  managing the morale of a player in the NHL roster.

In the Be a Pro, on the other hand, the feature Sim to the Next Shift is returned along with the ability to start your career in the minors. There's a new progression system with playing the ice, shaping your role in the NHL.

Aside from the online modes, the game also has a local co-op.

This gets very exciting as September is coming near. Fans surely can't wait for its release to happen.
