"Outlander" is only days away from its season one finale and fans should brace themselves for an emotional rollercoaster, as the final episode would be "painful" yet "beautiful." This article contains spoilers for "Outlander." Read on to learn more about this story.

The "Outlander" cast has already begun filming for season two even with season one still up on air. As the show is gearing up for its season one finale this Saturday, May 16, Kristin Dos Santos of E! News warned fans to brace themselves for what seems to be a scene that has never been portrayed in the history of television.

According to the outlet, the season one finale of "Outlander" will air "the ugliest scene ever on TV," which will then be followed by "the most beautiful scene ever on TV." Quite confusing isn't it? The outlet did not really delve into the details of the finale episode, but fans who have read the book will surely know what she was talking about.

As some fans have pointed out, the last episode of season one will feature Jamie's sexual assault in place of Claire, who was earlier threatened with rape by Randall. This may be the scene that the outlet was referring to as "painful" to watch and the "ugliest" scene to come out on TV. While this may be hard to watch for some, the scene will then be followed by Jamie's rescue and Claire will be delivering the news that she is pregnant.

Sam Heughan previously hinted about this scene and said that season one will end in "an interesting place and a grey area."

Heughan also expressed his excitement over reprising his role for season two and revealed that he still has not adjusted to the fame and support he is receiving from fans following the success of the Starz series. The Scottish actor also revealed that majority of their scenes in season two will be filmed in Scotland.

"Outlander" airs on Saturday, May 16 on Starz.
