Blizzard Entertainment recently released news of StarCraft 2:  Legacy of the Void Beta balance updates, stating more gameplay changes along with a few details on what the team has been working on including the new terran unit.

Previously, developers for StarCraft 2 : Legacy of the Void mentioned development of a new terran unit during their last April update.  Recent news about the terran unit states that the team is already comfortable in using an air unit that they were exploring for the game.

The team further added that the new Terran unit operates with two attack modes:  fast movement with splash-damage versus air and a stationary-mode which changes to an attack mode versus ground in which the attack targets an area wherein any units within that area receives a high single-target damage. Other game details that the team has been working on includes exploring ways to give more power to Terran bio play and trying new ability ideas for the Raven's PDD and Ghost's Snipe.

Game fans will again need to wait for more details about the new terran unit as the Starcraft 2 team completes their testing. Still, patch developers stated that they are doing their best to get the unit out to players as soon as possible.

The developers also shared that, "In addition to this new unit, we will be once again splitting apart mech and air upgrades at the Armory. We believe the Starport is more all-around in its capabilities now, and we're seeing a lot of cool things in internal playtests. With the mech upgrades being split out again, Terran players will need to more fully choose which tech paths they would like to commit to."

Meanwhile, the gameplay balance updates includes changes to the mothership core and mothership, oracle statis forced auto-cast, brood lord, upgraded zealot speed increases, lurker damage changes and the disruptor gains unit type.   Also, other areas discussed in this latest update was the in-game clock, length of the automated tournament game and stalemate limits.

Blizzard announced their line up for the Gamescon to be held this August.  Hopefully fans will be able to get more information about the StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void release date on the said event.

What's definite though is that fans of this multiplayer game will definitely be watching out for more news on Starcraft 2 : Legacy of the Void Beta updates.
