Probably one of the most exciting devices that we would be able to get our hands on this year is the futuristic and ambitious project of Microsoft, the HoloLens. The HoloLens is the first ever Microsoft Hologram device that will fuse the real world and the virtual reality.

Now, many are wondering as to what the new Microsoft HoloLens has in store for the masses. Here are the 10 things you need to know about the first ever Microsfot Hologram device.

1.       The Microsost HoloLens is an augmented reality headset. This means that the device can project virtual or digital images to the real world. The images would appear as 3D objects which would enable the user to manipulate these objects. Just imagine the possibilities in playing simulation games using this piece of technology.

2.       The Microsoft HoloLens is a computer itself, with its own CPU and GPU. It even sports the first ever holographic processing unit or HPU which tracks the surroundings, your hand gestures, and whatever you are looking at.

3.       The first ever Microsoft Hologram device uses a see through lens which allows the users to see their real environment while wearing the headset. This kind of format is similar to that of Google's Glass headset.

4.       The headset is geared with various devices which would make the users feel out of this world. It is packed with cameras for taking pictures and videos, sensors and speakers, and binaural audio.
