Released in 2013, Assetto Corsa recently updated its gameplay with its patches last month. This racing simulator was compared to the upcoming game Project CARS to arrive by May.Since these two are in closest competition among racing simulators out in the gaming markets.

One of the best options for those race enthusiasts will be delving their selves to the simulators. Among the enlisted racing simulators out online, Assetto Corsa is one of those recommended because of its cool features added to the gameplay.

From the graphics itself, Assetto Corsa is one of the best looking game that was ever created in the racing game history. Thus, it also requires much more powerful PC system to reach optimal racing experience.

Like the F1 2015 game to arrive this year, AC also has the physics installed to the game. But if compared to the Project CARS, this has better physics, yet it has the best visual aspect.. Actually, both of them have good quality with HD resolution.

In terms of its sound and its gameplay, in general, it has the best system than the others. Though the game doesn't have the excellent sound system than the others [Project CARS, closest comparison] but with its player modes - both single-player and multiplayer modes - they are already good for a racing simulator.

If fans would try to check the racing cars available, it has the same cars as the German, and British including its tracks are packed to Assetto Corsa. Especially if the users would avail its latest Dream Pack DLC, they would get another 10 cars as well as the newest laser-scanned Nürburgring Nordschleife.

On the other hand, if the AC has a lot of good features included in the race, Project CARS has also the same. It also has the world-class graphics and handling, with cool day & weather system. From the number and units of cars to modes, they are all added in the racing game.

Compared to the former, Project CARS has its connectivity ports where the player can take advantage to communicate with other players as well. Relative to that is its Online Mode, which is really perfect for practice sessions for beginners and not just for that, but also for full practice for qualifying sessions, also.

If the Assetto was limited to the tracks, Project CARS has over 60 tracks to choose from. These come along with the pre-defined championships in Season Mode, and the racers can also choose or create their own tracks.

Lastly, in terms of platforms, Project CARS has a lot of compatible versions since it can be played through PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with Steam OS and Wii U versions to follow next year.

To sum it all up, with two years since the Assetto Corsa was released, there might be some obsolete patches, updates which were somehow left behind compared to the upcoming Project CARS. Yet, for racing simulator gameplay, both of these are already good enough for players to enjoy the race tracks and even the entire race as a whole.

Slated to release by mid-May in Europe and United States, Project CARS pre-orders are already available.
