"Iron Man 4" and "Iron Man 5" are definitely good to go movies, but Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in this upcoming films remains to be unconfirmed. Tony Start was the one who started it all. His success in the first movie Iron Man lead to a sequel and several Marvel movies hitting box-office records one at a time through the years. Robert Downey Jr. also serves as one of the pioneers and the icon that lead to the success of the recent Marvel movies. In the event that he renews a longer contract for the upcoming installment of the movie franchise, he definitely deserves a set of blockbuster worthy plots to look forward too. Here are some of the ideas gathered online.

Iron Man 3 was about the Extremis and a follow-up movie with the same theme would most likely catch the interest of its patrons. A genius that goes by the name Zeke manages to reverse-engineer Stark's technology for his own use. In the process, he creates bio-upgrades of himself and creates energy within his body capable of creating a fire repulse blast. He will put Pepper Potts life in danger via an African suicide bomber. Tony who just retired from Iron Man 3 seeks revenge and will team up with a younger and a brash version of himself - Stane. "Iron Man 4" is rumored to de Downey's last Iron Man movie, thus a successor is most likely needed.

Another potential villain and plot for the upcoming movie includes Spymaster. Spymaster will manage to steal Tony Stark's design. The real Iron Man will have an encounter with an armored foe named Force, who happens to wear a suit based on the design of the Iron Man. He later on discovers that several armored villains are already using these suits and he will be responsible for going after each and every one of them.

If the "Iron Man 4" movie will be released after the Civil War, a plot wherein Iron Man is expelled from the Avengers and Iron Man faking his own death is also expected. This will allow Marvel to give the Iron Man franchise for a few years to give way to several other projects like Spider-Man, Ant-Man and other Marvel standalone movies.

A 2018 release is rumored for the movie "Iron Man 4."
