Benedict Cumberbatch has still a year and a half to go before the release of the Marvel standalone movie Doctor Strange. A release date may have already been announced for the Marvel movie but a clear plot on how the movie will go is still at bay. A villain and several women have already been attached to the main character of the story but several predictions are still at large.

Several predictions have already been released about Doctor Strange. A background story on how he became the Supreme Sorcerer will be most likely featured in the story. Several other names like that of Scarlett Witch and Enchantress are also being linked to Doctor Strange's name. He'll either have Clea or Morgana Blessing as his love interests once he enters the cosmic and the dark world. Dormammu will most likely be the villain he'll be facing in the movie. But which plot would allow Doctor Strange to cross to the Infinity Wars movie?

The Infinity Wars movie will deal with dark powers and dark magic. The five celestial gems will be collected by Magus to be able to create evil doppelgangers of the Earth's superheroes. Doctor Strange together with the rest of the Avengers, Fantastic Four and the other superheroes in the Marvel Universe will team up to bring Magus and Thanos down.

Strange has also appeared in a lot of supporting roles in the comic books since 2000. He became part of the Amazing Spider-Man series as well as in the New Avengers. He also became a member of the secret group Illuminati which deals with the future threats to Earth. He is also known to be one of the critical advocates against the Superhuman Registration Act.

In the upcoming movie Civil War, a cameo role from Benedict Cumberbatch is expected after rumors that Dr. Strange might actually bring Captain America back to life. He is also speculated to be featured in the standalone Aquaman and Black Panther movie.

A November 4, 2016 release is expected for the "Doctor Strange" movie.
