The latest two episodes of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' featured a clash between the Avant sisters both in the Forrester mansion and at Forrester Creations, primarily due to Nicole's threats of revealing Maya's secret. Nicole constantly used this leverage over her sister to get what she wanted, but knowing Maya, she obviously is not one to give up so easily. Maya approached Carter to do a background check on her sister - something Carter was hesitant to do initially, but eventally did after Maya pestered him about it.

Whatever Maya's secret is, even she feels that it can potentially ruin her standing in Forrester Creations and destroy her romantic relationship with Rick. Currently though, Rick has complete trust in Maya, something that Nicole is playing to her advantage. Whether or not Rick finds out about Maya's secret is something that Nicole enjoys to play in her hands.

Carter's investigation into Nicole's background may have given Maya an edge to fight back. It appears that Nicole has quit UCLA, and Maya might probably use this to kick her sister out of the Forrester estate. Nicole is relentless, however, and continues to threaten her sister by telling her that she can take everything away from Maya with one word.

Meanwhile, Bill and Katie visited Brooke to see how she was doing. They discussed about Bill and Katie's honeymoon in Aspen, and Deacon's engagement to Quinn. Upon being left alone, Brooke struggled to prevent herself from getting drunk. Later on, Deacon arrives at Brooke's house to help her cope with her issues.
