Zenfone 2 vs. LG G4 Review: Which is The Better Smart Phone in Terms of Display, Memory?

At the International CES 2015 held at Las Vegas, Nevada last January 6-9, Asus had unveiled its flagship phone, the Zenfone 2. The Zenfone 2 is a high end smart phone which had been made available to the public at the price of 200 dollars only.

The Asus Zenfone 2 had created a buzz to the smart phone market ever since it was released. The smart phone was identified for its solid feature set. However, will this flagship mobile by Asus stand a chance against the LG G4? Let us have a specs comparison.

1. SIM

The Asus Zenfone 2 will be sporting a Dual Sim ( Micro-SIM, dual stand by) while the the LG G4 will be sporting a Nano Sim.

2. DISPLAY

The Asus Zenfone 2 will have an IPS capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. The 5.5 inch Asus smart phone will have a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Its screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The LG G4 on the other hand will have True HD -IPS + LCD capacitive touch screen with also 16M colors. The 5.3 inch LG smart phone has a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

3. PLATFORM

The Asus Zenfone 2 and LG G4 will both run on the same Android version 5.0 Lollipop. However, their difference lies on the chipset. The Asus Zenfone 2 runs on a Quad Core Intel Atom Z3580 while the LG G4 will run with a Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.

4. MEMORY

Both smart phones will be supporting a micro SD. The Zenfone 2 will have a 64MB upgradable SD while the LG G4 will have a 128 MB upgradable SD.

5. CAMERA

The Zenfone 2 has a 13MP rear camera with an autofocus and dual- LED flash. Its front camera has 5MP. Other features of the Zenfone 2 are the Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR.

While the LG G4 has a 16MP rear cam with phase detection/laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, dual-LED flash. It has a 5MP front camera. Other features of the LG G4 are the simultaneous video and image recording, geo-tagging, face detection, and HDR.

So with both of these features from the upcoming smart phones, fans will be left to judge as to which smart phone will stand out as we anticipate their launch this year.
