Microsoft is yet to announce the official launch of the Surface Pro 4 and Windows 10 but hopes are very high, which most likely means both developments might be announced in public at the same time. While Windows 10 is expected to bring in power features and killer configurations, Surface Pro 4 is the forthcoming device of the tech titan to redefine the technology in terms of practicability, design and versatility.

Here's a rundown of how Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Ultrabook hybrid is going to look like according to an expert's taste.

Keyboard Options

Surface Pro 3's Type Cover keyboard has been received well by tech geeks as it also functions as a protective cover for the tablet. However, Type Cover's keys makes owners uncomfortable since they have to type with fingers curved and wrists raised. Another keyboard with the same keys from that of traditional notebook fits Surface Pro 4. Sturdy hinges attached to a strong magnet will make the device ahead of the game.

Smaller/Larger Screen

Microsoft opted to offer a 7-inch Surface Pro 3 but cancelled it. This aborted plan shall be good and applicable to Surface Pro 4 as it is reported to come out in two size variants, 12 inches and 14 inches. Instead, Microsoft shall offer variety by offering a 7-inch or 8-inch device and a 12-inch or 14-inch device.

Fan-less Processor

While Surface Pro 3 runs Intel i3, i5 and i7 processor, Surface Pro 4 is reportedly to run the newest Intel Core M line processor that gets away from cooling fans, which is designed for slim and mobile devices.

The fifth generation 64-bit Intel Core processor called Broadwell will ditch Haswell to increase efficiency. This chip will also boost battery life and graphics and performance.

Sharp Focus Camera Technology

Surface Pro 3's rear camera does not possess the technology to focus even in a few feet away. For Microsoft to get ahead of Apple's new MacBook 2015, Surface Pro 4 shall have a sharp focus enabled lens to snap image scenes easily.

More Useful Surface Pen

Surface Pen is often used in sketching and writing on Surface Pro 3's display. The pen, however, cannot be used in many application when the device is turned into a tablet. Surface Pro 4 shall include more software like PDF and Word for the pen to be useful other than the OneNote.

Thinner and Lighter Design

Surface Pro 3's chassis is made up of magnesium and stands outs in its kickstand's hinge mechanism that gives a sturdy mechanical build. To exceed expectations, Surface Pro shall sport a thinner and lighter body than Pro 3's 0.36 inches thin and 1.76 pounds in weight.

Earlier leaks reported Surface Pro 4 will have a 2160 x 1440 screen resolution with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.

According to reports, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will come out in July 2015 and will cost $899 for the large version and $599 for the mini version.
