iPad Air 2 may be nearing a time when it will be considered a thing of the past. With the current updates regarding the iPad Air 3 which is said to bring innovations to the iPad Air generation, the iPad Air 2 might be nearing its end. The new generation iPad Air would shine brighter with its updated specs and feature while losing its originality.

According to Android Origin, the iPad Air 3 will be keeping its classic iPad design. It would be very likely that the new iPad would get a RAM upgrade. This would mean that next generation table will be very efficient in terms of memory. Its Random Access Memory or RAM would reach up to 4GB.

Another outstanding feat of the iPad Air 3 is its stylus. Finally, Apple would be producing a gadget which would be using a stylus. However, if one would recall that Steve Jobs was against the stylus technology and that it would be the death of the company. But it would be a novelty and an interesting feat if Apple would bring the stylus to its family.

There is also a possibility that the iPad Air 3 will be hosting the comeback of the mute toggle switch. If one would remember, the previous versions of the mute toggle switch had problems of inactivity in some smart phones. Fans may expect a better version of the said feature. Another feature which might come with the iPad Air 3 is the Apple Pay and Touch ID.

A9 processors will be likely feat for the iPad Air 3. The chip is allegedly in progress in the Samsung plant in Texas. Though smaller and thinner, the A9 chipset will be more efficient and would definitely make changes in the performance of the tablet.

According to VC Post, the new iPad Air will run on a new iOS 9 software. The iOS 9 would make the device work faster and even bring an improved Siri to cope with the users even without internet connection.

As for the release date, we could count on Apple to follow its launch pattern. The original iPad Air and the iPad Air 2 were launched on October and it will be a huge chance for Apple to launch its iPad Air 3 on October of this year. So for the fans, you only have a couple of months more of waiting.
