Many speculations regarding the release and specifications of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have been circulating the web. As what we have reported previously, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will revolutionize the world of smartphones. And with this revolution comes the rumor that a Virtual Reality (VR) Headset will be launched along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

It has been a long fantasy of many console and mobile companies to produce a headset that would somehow manage to let the users feel that they are indeed inside the game itself. Oculus is currently planning to partner with Samsung while Sony plans to form a collaboration with HTC and Valve/Steam reported via Techtimes. With this incoming partnerships, the dreams of every gamer might finally come to a realization.

So the question would be, "When will Samsung release this VR headset?" Since the device would be released together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, it is expected to be released in September. Why September you ask? Because September will be the time when the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will reach its one year anniversary.

John Carmack, the Oculus Chief Technology had claimed that the Samsung is ready to release its Gear VR. Quoted from Engadget, "We've got a planned date. You can kind of mark it on the calendar. Oculus is going to go for it as hard as we can [with] broad consumers, trying to sell as many units as possible, unleashing Samsung [marketing] with the next Gear VR." However, no exact date was released regarding the release. It is also most likely that the Samsung VR Headset would be like a combined concept of Oculus Rift and Google's VR Cardboard headset that may work on smart phones and tablets.

Well one thing is for sure, Samsung will definitely go all the way with publishing the newest VR headset.
