Dice LA would be doing something unique with the "Battlefield 4" game play as they have invited their premium subscribers to contribute in the development of a new map that would be released soon, perhaps along with the latest patch, "Winter Patch," this March 2015.

In a video uploaded in the "Battlefield" YouTube channel, Dice LA Live Producer David Sirland told gamers that their newest map for the "Battlefield 4" would go through a first of its kind procedure where premium users would be able to help in the creation process through the newly launched Community Test Environment (CTE),

This was confirmed by Dice LA Creative Director Thomas "Tompen" Andersson wherein premium users would "collaborate" with the development team in tweaking the new map "from concepts to finals." He added that the collaboration with "Battlefield 4" premium users would be on all steps of the map making project.

The Dice LA team would be using feedback drawn from "Battlefield" premium users at the CTE website to improve the new map for "Battlefield 4;" interested premium users could check out updates on the CTE website (cte.battelog.com).

Meanwhile, Dice LA would also be releasing its "Winter Patch" for "Battlefield 4." The patch would be concentrated on netcode and solider collision "polishing;" also, Squad Obliteration would be tweaked to the benefit of "competitive game modes" fans. These developments in "Battelfield 4" were released despite the impending launch of "Battlefield Hardline," which just currently reached gold status and would be available on March 17 in all platforms.

Perhaps a few of the major reasons behind the number of multiple releases this March for the "Battlefield" franchise could be that "Battlefield 4" still enjoyed a big fan base, while a growing market for more "Battlefield" action had emerged across the gaming community. Also, "Battlefield 4" was a safe bet in testing the latest CTE with the game's premium users.
