RideScout wants to help people find the most convenient route for public transport to get to their destination. Now, the transportation aggregator has expanded its scope to include San Francisco, according to TechCrunch.

The app has previously been available only in Austin and Washington, D.C. Its recent launch in San Francisco aims to include both public and private transit choices for its users. RideScout's options in the Bay Area include SideCar, Muni, Golden Gate Transit, Silvercar, BART, City CarShare, and several others, the report detailed.

RideScout lets users search for their choice of transit based on price, speed, and other factors. The abovementioned choices can be used to travel from point A to point B via bus, rented or hired car, or train, the report added.

Aside from public and private transport choices, RideScout also provides directions for users who opt to walk or drive to their destinations. It has also tapped Parking Panda to give users parking options, TechCrunch reported.
