New betting startup YouBetMe is launching bookie-like app ahead of the Superbowl game this Sunday. The said app helps keep track of casual bets. However, it does not handle any cash transactions, according to VentureBeat.

The iOS app of YouBetMe provides three options for betting. The first two are made for sports enthusiasts. Betters can pick from a list of games being played on that day, and provides statistics to support informed decisions. The second option lets users bet on stuff that might occur in the game. The third option is more of a customized bet that allows the user to choose an opponent and set his own terms for the bet, the report detailed.

According to founder and Chief Executive Officer Jason Neubauer, the startup plans to secure sponsorship deals to raise revenue. The said deals would have to offer perks for YouBetMe app users the report explained.

YouBetMe was founded in San Francisco, California in 2012. The company has closed $1.2 million in seed financing and is planning to raise Series A funding in the near future, VentureBeat reported.
