21 Partners buys Synerlab from Ardian

European private equity firm 21 Partners agreed to acquire Synerlab from investment company Ardian. The said deal will be done in coopertaion with Synerlab's management team. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. This was according to a press release report published by PE Hub.

Under the terms of the deal, Ardian will subsequently reinvest in Synerlab to support the company's pan-European development. Also, the transaction is subject to the approval of antitrust authorities, the report said.

Synerlab is a pharmaceutical contract manufacturing company based in France. The firm specializes in producing sterile liquid solutions without using preserving agents. The company is an expert in small- to large-scale industrial production, the report stated.

21 Partners is a private equity group led by Gerard Pluvinet and Alessandra Benetton. The company invests in firms based in Italy, Poland, Switzerland, and France. In the last two decades, 21 Partners has completed around 100 investments, said the report.

Ardian is a premium independent private investment firm based in Paris. The firm was founded in 1996 by Dominique Senequier. Ardian manages USD36 billion worth of assets in Europe, Asia, and North America, PE Hub reported.
