The LivingSocial website, apps and properties have been down for more than 30 hours in the US starting Tuesday 2:45 pm ET. The site showed a message saying it was down for maintenance. This was according to a report published by AllThingsD.

LivingSocial's login platform for merchants and deals was also out, sources told AllThingsD. The site has posted updates on its blog in relation to the outage, said the report.

In one of the updates, the company said the website and mobile app went down on Tuesday afternoon. The update also said there was no proof of external factors causing the outage. LivingSocial pledged to have the site running again as soon as possible, the report said.

The latest outage is detrimental to LivingSocial. Just this year, the site has been hit by a hack of customer data, AllThingsD reported.

In the latest update posted at 11:59 am ET, LivingSocial spokeswoman Sara Parker denied any malicious attacks on the website: "There is nothing to indicate that this was the result of any external factors and there is nothing that leads us to think that any consumer or merchant data, or financial information has been compromised."
