Apple's latest iOS update had fixed one of the major mobile software issues that had hounded the tech company's new iPhone line since its launch months ago.

The iOS 7.03 update would fix the accelerator calibration of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Earlier owner comments and even tech website tests indicated that both iPhones' sensors were off to as high as 7 degrees. The errors were significant especially on games that rely mostly on the phone's sensors to be played.

Aside from the sensor calibration fix, Apple also included bug fixes on some of its apps. The bug fixes included a system stability fix for iWork apps, which for some iPhone owners had caused the error screen "blue screen of death" to show up. The blue screen of death would only appear on Windows-operated devices.

Apple would be releasing its fourth quarter earnings on October 28. In its third quarter earnings report, Apple projected a revenue of USD34 billion to USD37 billion for its fourth quarter. Even if Apple hit the low revenue number, its total earnings for this year would hit over USD167 billion, which is still higher than last year's.
