Online communication and collaboration platform FuzeBox raised USD26 million in a Series B funding round. The funding round was led by Hermes Growth Partners. FuzeBox also received investment commitments from its existing investors Khosla Ventures, Index Ventures and Insight Venture Partners.

Fuzebox raised a total of USD46 million in company funding. Headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Santa Barbara, California and in Sofia, Bulgaria, the company has provided unified communication solutions in Internet and mobile to its customers. Customers can conduct interviews, presentations and meetings via video conference, screen sharing and other online collaboration tools.

Fuzebox's new Chief executive David Obrand told tech news site Techcrunch that funding from the Series B round would help grow its product and engineering teams and increase its sales worldwide, preferably Europe. Fuzebox is currently sharing the online collaboration services market with long-term players like Cisco WebEx, Citrix and Microsoft Lync. However, it has prided itself with having a prime customer base like Macy's,  Groupon, Ogilvy and Kellogg's.
