The acquisition would allow Quality Systems to enhance its current enterprise interoperability initiatives and client data exchange offerings.

Mirth Corporation is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. Thousands of health professionals and institutions around the world had been using Mirth's systems to streamline care management processes and secure exchange of health information to companies, communities and broad geographies.

Quality Systems Inc. is based in Irvine, California. The company develops and market computer based practice management, electronic health records and revenue cycle management applications. It also develops connectivity products and services for small hospitals as well as for medical and dental groups.

Quality Systems would maintain the Mirth brand identity and its management team. It would also continue to market Mirth's commercial solutions.
