Siris Capital Group, a leading private equity firm specializing in making control investments in data, telecommunications and technology in North America, has announced their new Managing Director of Investment Development and Strategy, Elias Mendoza.

In a press release, the newly-appointed Managing Director will take care of the identification and evaluation of trends within current and potential industry verticals in order to generate investment opportunities. Also, Mr. Mendoza will be assisting Siris Executive Partners and investment professionals with primary business strategies of target companies.

Elias Mendoza was a Partner at Union Square Advisors, serving as Chief Operating Officer as well as a senior banker, before establishing connection with Siris Capital Group. The new Managing Director has held various senior positions at IBM. These positions include Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Development. Previous experience boasts of a twelve-year stint at Morgan Stanley & Co., most recently as Investment Banking Division Executive Director.
