Pembrook Capital Management, a venture capital firm targeting the real estate sector, announced today that Paul D. Mullaney will be the company's next managing director of underwriting. Mullaney previously served as managing director for NXT Capital.

According to Stuart J. Boesky, president and chief executive officer of Pembrook Capital Management, the new hire "has an impressive background and we welcome him to the Pembrook team," When asked about the reason why Mullaney was handpicked for the position, Boesky said, "His deep understanding of underwriting and commercial real estate finance will complement the strength and expertise of our existing team members."

Mullaney also worked as a full time consultant for Blackrock Financial Management. He has been in the real estate financing industry for over 22 years. His experience includeholding the position of director for Merrill Lynch Capital where he managed assets in the Northeast Region.

Pembrook Capital Management has headquarters in both New York and Boston.
