Motorola is launching a new phone, billed as 'always listening' for the voice commands of its owner. The mobile phone company is now owned by Google and saying "OK Google now..." would prompt the phone through its Moto X Touchless Control to listen to its owner.

The new phone would be manufactured in the United States. Alongside the phone's technology is a wide menu available for to customize the phone according to the needs and wants of its owner.

This is the first product undertaken by Google and Motorola after the US$12.5 billion or GBP7.9 billion buyout by the search engine giant in 2012. Accorrding to Motorola's CEO Dennis Woodside, there are many new features in the Moto X. These include 2,000 possible combinations for its customization options for the model. Another leap forward is the difference in the manner the phone is controlled in the mobile platform.

The new phone is expected to crowd out other Google Android users in the current market. The sales of Android powered phones have been gobbled up by market leader Samsung. Other branded market phones that take up the market are LG, Huawei, ZTE and Sony.
