Nomura’s Saba Nazar moves to BAML

According to a memo issued by BAML, Saba Nazar transferred to Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) to take on a similar role. Nazar co-headed Nomura's financial sponsors before taking her new job as the vice chairperson of the global financial sponsors at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Nazar will help in developing stronger ties with the bank's valued private equity companies. This was according to the same memo issued by BAML. Saba Nazar will start her new job in November and will be based in London. Nazar has over 20 years of experience in banking and investment. She was also the head of telecommunications, media and technology investment banking at Nomura. She also worked with Goldman Sachs for 13 years prior to joining the financial sponsors team at Lehman Brothers in 2005. Nomura bought parts of Lehman Brothers in 2008.

Saba Nazar was not immediately available to give her statements on the said issued memo by BAML.
