Jessica Alba Steps Down From The Honest Company 12 Years After Founding the Firm

Jessica Alba is stepping down as chief creative officer at The Honest Company, the baby products and personal care business she founded in 2021.
In a statement released on Tuesday, The Honest Company said that Jessica Alba has decided to step down from her role so that she may focus "her creative energy to new endeavors."
It added that the "Fantastic Four" star will remain on the company's board of directors. The actress also announced her departure on Instagram and shared some old photographs.
"Building Honest has been a true labor of love... This journey has been the ride of a lifetime, one that only existed in my wildest dreams," the actress wrote.

According to CNN, The Honest Company, which went public and started trading on Nasdaq in 2021, reported a strong fourth quarter in March.
The company's earnings report showed that its revenue surged 10% to $90 million, driven by digital channel growth and price increases. The report also noted that its diaper and infant apparel divisions performed exceptionally well.
In 2016, Forbes named Jessica Alba as one of the wealthiest self-made women in the United States and one of the richest entrepreneurs under 40 for her successful business ventures.
Reuters reported that the firm was worth $2 billion during its Nasdaq debut.
