Aircall raises $2.75 million in seed funding

Aircall, a Paris-based start-up, said that it has raised about $2.75 million in a seed funding round. The funding was headed by Balderton Capital, including FundersClub and other US-based angels. The French online phone system said that it will utilize the investment amount to shore up its team as well as to fasten its development in the US and European markets.

The company said that it has constructed a business phone structure that does not depend on hardware like desk-phones but deploys through an app, which can be downloaded to devices like mobile phones, computers and tablets.
