Movable Ink names new vice president

Electronic mail marketing technology provider Movable Ink announced today that Jason Valdina is its new Vice President of Product. The New York based company told in a press statement that the new position entailed responsibility over the company's design and development team.

Investors of the company include Intel Capital, Contour Venture Partners, Metamorphic Ventures, ff Ventures, and Kima Ventures. Movable Ink's angels include Josh Baer, Alan Laifer, Bob Pittman and Andy Russell.

"Movable Ink's clients are on the leading edge of targeted brand marketing, so when it came to bolstering our executive team on the product front, we wanted someone as obsessed with customer experience as our clients are," commented Movable Ink's chief executive officer and co-founder Vivek Sharma.

"With his vast expertise in product user experience and a vision for the future of marketing technology, Jason fits that description to a T," he mused.

The company's flagship enterprise is the Agile Email Marketing platform which allows marketers to create campaigns in real-time, relative to the recipient's time zone.
