Initial photos of filming for "Doctor Strange" in Nepal show Benedict Cumberbatch in his character's look. With an origin story plot, the possible addition of Mads Mikkelsen to the cast have fans theorizing that he might pay Dread Dormammu. Amy Landecker is also set to join and might play Sarah Wolfe, Stange's assistant.

Several stills in twitter show the Benedict Cumberbatch with director Scott Derrickson and co-star Chiwetel Ejifor who plays Strange's nemesis, Baron Mordo. The usually clean shaven actor who has been acclaimed to play Sherlock on TV has been seen sporting a beard and wearing rugged clothes as he walks the streets of Nepal.

The movie is supposedly the origin story of Doctor Strange which explains the filming in Nepal where he might possibly be looking for the Ancient one to cure his hands. In the original story, Stephen Strange is a neuro-surgeon who got his hands injured after a car crash. In some of the pictures, Cumberbatch can be seen with a bandage on his right hand.

Even though the filming has commenced, the whole cast has not yet been announced. However, there are rumors of possible villains(because there are a lot) that will be appearing and one of which is Mads Mikkelsen from the critically acclaimed series Hannibal.

In a report by Movie Pilot, the man who played Hannibal Lecter on TV might play Dread Dormammu, the God/King from the dark dimension and one of Dr. Strange's most formidable foes. If this is the case, fans should expect more than one outing for Dr. Strange.

According to A.V. Club, confirmed cast members aside from Cumberbatch and Ejiofor are Tilda Swinton who will be the Ancient One, and Rachel McAdams who might either be Clea or Night Nurse. Michael Stuhlbarg on the other hand will take the role of Nicodemus West, strange's rival. Newest addition to the cast is Emmy nominated Amy Landecker who might play Strange's assistant, Sara Wolfe.

With a highly anticipated movie like Doctor Strange, a lot of mysteries especially in casting will keep flooding the web until the movie itself gets released. Fans of the neuro-surgeon/sorcerer should stay put as the movie will be released Nov 4, 2016
