OnePlus X Specs, Price, Release: X Factors Why You Should Buy This New Smartphone

Following the release of OnePlus 2 this year, smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has launched another smartphone called the OnePlus X. This handset has its own X factors that provides legitimate reasons why buyers should have one on their hands.

AndroidPIT has detailed the factors and reasons why the OnePlus X should be patronized by smartphone enthusiasts. The first reason is getting an amazing product running on Android Lollipop OS at a budget price of only $249. The device also has good looks and of course, good specs that are very reasonable for its price.

The OnePlus X has a luxurious build, as it has a coherent and understated design. This new smartphone by OnePlus is beautifully weighted, having a chamfered metal edges and a glass body. Another X factor to consider is its ability to fit comfortably in one's pocket, as it features a 5-inch display in a super slim and flat physique.

It is also worth knowing that the OnePlus X comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with HDR, phase detection autofocus and 1,080p recording at 30 FPS. As for its front snapper, it has an 8-megapixel front camera that is much higher compared to the one housed by its rival, Samsung Galaxy S6.

This handset by OnePlus has a full HD resolution that is very similar to what Sony Xperia Z5 compact has. And lastly, it will be cool to have this handset firsthand for bragging rights, considering buyers still need to receive an invite in order make a purchase.

Still on OnePlus X, Android Authority stated in detail that the OnePlus X is engineered with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz. It is backed by the Adreno 330 GPU and is packed with 3GB RAM. This handset also offers dual SIM capabilities wherein the second SIM slot can also function as a microSD card slot, allowing users to choose between dual SIMs and up to 128 GB expandable storage.

Apart from the X factors that the OnePlus X carries, International Business Times stated on its article that the OnePlus X is now open for purchase via the official eStore in the European Union (EU). And just like in UK, possible buyers in the EU are required to have an invite to purchase the smartphone.

OnePlus X is sold at €269 for the Onyx Black variant while the Ceramic White color variant is priced at €369.
