Google has made an upgrade to its Keep just recently. The new version has been updated to v.3.2.415, which is expected to allow users to draw and annotate images like screenshots for Android devices, including Android Wear.

The search giant's note-taking application includes performance enhancements as well as bug fixes. According to a teardown reported by Android Police, Google Keep is said to receive major user-facing features, like built-in drawing mode to easily record scribbles, sketches, and doodles.

Instead of typing in the text, the drawing mode lets the users to draw their notes. The drawings and scribbles can be made from scratch or annotations over existing photos. In order for the users to add a drawing, they have to tap the Add drawing option that appears in the overflow menu. An option to edit a drawing when a photo or drawing is already open in Google Keep is also available.

Furthermore, Google has included some simple tools to allow users to draw on the application, such as three drawing tools - marker with straight edges, highlighter, and pen with round edges. These drawing tools come in eight various sizes. The other inclusions are a Clear command to rub out everything drawn on the note and an eraser tool. Additionally, a complete color palette is presented. However, it is still uncertain as to what colors users are able to use.

This latest update from Google Keep might also be accessible for iOS users in the future. It is also expected to sync with other devices and the users are able to share their drawings, just like their notes.

There is no confirmed date yet as to when this update will roll out. Nevertheless, it will be very soon since the updated Google Keep appears to be completely done already. Before anything else, it is also worth noting that everyone must wait for the Big G's confirmation about the update.
