Seed stage venture capital firm Trinity Ventures announced today that Karan Mehandru is the company's newest general partner. Mehandru's previous position was at Scale Venture Partners, where he was a partner. Past companies include PMC Sierra and Synopsys.

The promotion came after Mehandru's contribution to the company's enterprise team. Trinity Ventures that his joining to the roster of partners highlights the company's continued investment focus in the enterprising sector.

"Karan has shown great leadership in expanding Trinity's SaaS and infrastructure practices. He enjoys strong rapport with entrepreneurs based on his enthusiastic engagement and his thought leadership around go to market strategies and growth metrics," said General Partner Larry Orr.

Cheif executive officer Raghu Raghavan also commented on the promotion, "He was an early believer and an active supporter of the company, and is an extremely valuable member of the Act-On board of Directors. We look forward to making his investment in Act-On Software a wonderful one."
