Google secures patent on Watch Time for video contents
Google secured a patent for their Watch Time which gives the scores to video contents and uses a scoring system to determine the searchability of the video content. If users tend to watch a video for a longer period of time, it will get a higher score that will make it searchable, and vice versa.
