Pacific Rim 2 may still be in pre-production, but new claims about the film suggest that director Guillermo Del Toro is currently eyeing on having Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams to join the cast. Del Toro also revealed that new characters are to be expected in the sequel. Also, the film was taken out from its previous August 2017 release date.
‘Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens’ will feature Mark Hamill as the iconic Luke Skywalker. Although famous for being the main protagonist in earlier films in the franchise, it was speculated that he may turn evil in the latest feature film. He allegedly pitched the surprise plot twist to director J.J. Abrams.
‘Iron Man 4’ potential villains are explored and include The Mandarin, Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man. Mary Jane Watson makes a surprising crossover for the ‘Invincible Iron Man’ series and is rumored to appear on the next sequel as well. It may feature a romantic angle between her and Tony Stark.
‘Batman: Bad Blood’ official trailer has been released by DC. The direct-to-video animated film will feature new characters Batwoman and Batwing and is scheduled for release some time in 2016. It is directed by Jay Olivia based on the screenplay by J.M. DeMatteis.
