Cybersecurity startup CounterTack based in Waltham, Massachusetts closed its Series B funding round with an additional $3 million to bring the financing total to $15 million.

Venture capital-backed Ezetap, a mobile payment startup in India, raised $8 million for its Series B round from Helion Advisors, Social+Capital and Berggruen Holdings, TechCrunch reported.

Blackstone, Khosla Ventures, Fairhaven Capital and a group of private investors invested $20 million in the Series B round of cybersecurity firm Cylance

Smart bathroom scale maker PICOOC is raising $20 million for its second institutional funding round. The company makes the smart body scale brand Latin, TechNode reported.

Fashion e-commerce company Lyst was able to secure $14 million for its Series B funding round led by Balderton Capital and joined in by DFJ Esprit, Accel Partners and angel investors.

Zepp Labs Inc, a startup based in Los Gatos, California, closed its Series B round with $15 million to develop wearable technology to enable sports enthusiasts to step up their game.

Mohr Davidow Ventures led the Series B round for Vancouver, British Columbia-based BuildDirect which raised C$30 million. High profile investors Canadian investors like BDC Venture Capital also joined the round.

A Kickstarter campaign allowed chip startup Adapteva to bridge the gap between its Series A and Series B rounds and prove its market, a Gigaom report said.
