Tapiture, a site where users can access millions of their favorite things, received $2.25 million for its seed funding round from various investors, TechCrunch reported.

Allovue, an education technology firm based in Baltimore, Maryland, received $800,000 for its seed funding round from Maryland Technology Development Corporation, Baltimore Angels and Shulman Ventures.
