Fulcrum Equity names new partner

Fulcrum Equity Partners announced today that Jim Douglass as its new partner.

As the company's new partner, Dougless is in charge of Fulcrum's existing portfolio of companies. He will also oversee the creation of new investment opportunities.

Before joining Fulcrum Equity Partners, Douglass was the chief executive officer of Vesdia, a card-linking marketing pioneer geared towards financial, airline, and hospitality services.  He currently serves Cartera as member of its board of directors. Prior to Vesdia, Douglass held the position of chief executive officer of Visionary Systems in Atlanta, Georgia, and chief financial officer of Check Free Corporation. At Check Free, Douglass aided in the company's $500 million revenue drive.

Fulcrum Equity Partners' founder Jeff Muir said, "We've known Jim for over 20 years and have enjoyed watching his career develop and blossom."
